Sneak Peek!

We had an engagement shoot this Tuesday with our good friend Rachel. We had a blast at the reception site and went out for sushi after. Here are a few of the shots from that day...keep them coming Rachel! We love them!

Decisions, Decisions...

We aren't afraid to admit that we are a fickle couple. But after weeks of searching and changing our minds...we were able to make some very important decisions this week! First, we finally decided on our reception venue. It is a botanical garden on a private estate in Vista, California that is actually considered a rainforest by the San Diego Botanical Society. It really is a breathtakingly beautiful site with amazing views and acres of flowers. Here are some facts about the property:

75- number of feet the canopy of trees reaches
100- genera of palm
25- countries represented by tree fern types
45- years it took Mardy Darian to cultivate his garden
300- tons of carbon Darian says his garden has removed from the atmosphere in 45 years

We have another bit of exciting news...we found a place to live! We'll be in Carlsbad living close to the beach and Gavin's work. We are so excited! I'll post more pictures as we start to move things in...

The start of something new

Gavin asked Kelly Jo to marry him on June 26, 2009.
She said yes.
They are getting married September 26, 2009 in the San Diego LDS temple.
